A hum soon made its way past the blond's lips as he started cracking eggs into a blender. According to Natsuki, it was the perfect afternoon to make some Piyo-chan shaped cookies ( despite the fact it reacted like poison in practically everyone's mouth ), since his lovely wife wouldn't be home from grocery shopping until late in the evening. In other words, however, Natsuki had the whole house to himself alongside his adorable daughter, so he thought he should be making the best out of it.
On a further note, though, little [Name] really was the cutest thing he swore he ever set his eyes upon! Natsuki also found it wonderful that she strived to become a musician like him, and as a whole, he held great pride of the fact that the girl already shown much promise as a violinist, and she was only six!
Before long, however, Natsuki had added in some... 'unusual' combination of foods with the eggs. After placing the lid on top of the blender, grinding noises soon reverberated throughout the kitchen. It wasn't long until the ingredients became thoroughly mixed. With a wooden spoon, Natsuki then started swinging the questionable batch of black and brown dough into each hole of the muffin pan, before flamethrower-ing it in to perfection.
To any sane individual, this display would be considered more frightening than anything else. At this point, though, [Name] came racing down the stairs in barely suppressed excitement, the moment his cookies were set out into a plate. "Daddy, daddy! Did you make cookies again?" she exclaimed with utter delight.
A big smile tugged at the corner of his lips, as green hues momentarily closed. "Yes, [Name]-chan~ Feel free to have some! They're all yours!" He piped up in a cheerful manner, while pushing the plate of cookies towards the girl proving to have quite the... strange sense of taste, indeed, for the small hand held no sense of hesitation in popping the sweet delicacy into her mouth and chewing it, like it happened to be delicious.
"Thank you, daddy! Your cookies are really as yummy as always." [Name] proclaimed.
"You're so welcome, [Name]-chan! I'm glad that they're delicious." Natsuki proceeded to lean over and gently pat the head of [b/c] tresses with his larger palm. "It was the newest recipe I decided to try out. Some of the things I put in it are tabasco sauce, seaweed, vinegar, and cinnamon! ...But I'm relieved to see that it turned out so successful."
Natsuki then watched [Name] eat a few more cookies while he ruffled up her hair a little bit more, before taking out the pan and blender with him over to the sink. He then started washing, up until the point where he heard her childish voice rising up above the rushing water from the tap.
"Daddy?"
In response, the blond turned his head around. "Hmm? Oh, what is it, [Name]-chan?" He questioned lightly.
When [Name] pulled out a blue, origami ring from her pocket, he blinked in slight surprise. "Marry me! Mom said that if people get married, then they would be able to spend their whole, entire lives together! And I want to be together with you forever, Daddy!" she proceeded to go down onto her knees, with those small, innocent [e/c] hues looking up at him expectantly.
Now, it was a silly scene to picture... a little girl holding out a ring on her hand while kneeling to a man wearing a cute, frilly apron, but at the same time, Natsuki was so consumed by happiness at the moment that he couldn't quite help himself.
In a flash, he turned off the tap and quickly dried off his hands. "Of course I will accept your proposal! You're so cute, [Name]-chan!" He eagerly took the ring and pulled it over his finger, which he made sure to show the short-statured girl. "We'll be together forever! I promise!" With those words, Natsuki didn't even think about whether or not this was true; he just proceeded to bring [Name] into a huge bear hug. He couldn't even ask for more on Father's Day, since this was one thing that meant so much to him... a memory that he could look back on years from now with the same fondness.
